Please help us keep the radio station on air…
Radio Glan Clwyd members are as busy as ever, working hard to raise funds in order to keep the radio station on air.
At a recent roadshow on 15 September held at Tesco in Ruthin, the team collected a total of £299, which is a phenomenal amount of money! Thank you to everyone that contributed. Shoppers praised the work of the radio station, whilst members collected donations and talked to the public about the work of Radio Glan Clwyd (photo above).
It costs thousands of pounds each year to pay for the licenses, insurance policies, equipment and maintenance – all of which are essential in order to continue broadcasting across the hospital and the local area, so we are really grateful to everyone for their donations.
Similarly, Radio Glan Clwyd members, Olga, Alan, Dewi, Brenda, Andy, Tony and new recruit Sue, were on duty at the Tweedmill in St Asaph on Saturday 24 September. The shoppers were in good spirits, as they sang along to the music and danced through the car park! Thanks to everyone that donated to our collection which amounted to £199.
Across the weekend of 15/16 October, Radio Glan Clwyd members took part in a successful collection outside Matalan in Rhyl. As well as the usual music and chat, the team were helping to promote the special deals in store. The total collected across the two days was £275.
